I've just learned how to knit and I'm 4 months pregnant so
I've been working on new things for the baby and my 8 year old son. He and his father have both started learning, (I'm running out of yarn. lol)they each made their own Christmas stockings!

I absolutely love knitting and I've been donating blankets to children and elderly people in need of warmth this winter - if you have anything left, please let me know. It would be extremely helpful to me because I am low income so its hard for me to get nice yarn for these people.

Thank you so much

Oh WOW!!! When I saw this I could not believe it. I just taught my 10 yr old son to knit and he thinks it is the best ever. He asked me if we could make scarfs and beanies for poor people and start a foundation that makes things for people. I would love to win this yarn. Thank you

My younger sister and I have been making scarfs and selling them around the neighborhood to see if we can earn enough money to buy our family nice christmas presents. Since we are quite young, we can't really earn money any other way. Thanks!

I would love to win some yarn to make my oldest son a blanket. He's always helping me and the rest of his brothers and sisters. I'm disabled, and would appreciate this kind of gift. Thanks and God bless.

Hello,
I googled Free Yarn & your giveway was the first link that came up. I am the moderator of a knitting club at a high school in the Bronx, NY. We knit and crochet scarves, hats & gloves for the homeless. We also make blankets for preemies in a nearby hospital. This year we plan add another project-Chemo Caps for cancer patients. We rely on donatons of yarn to complete these projects. I know its September of 2011 but if you ever have extra yarn and would like to support our efforts-we'd greatly appreciate it. Thank You

FYI for anyone who likes this fabric I just picked up two jellies and a 5 fq bundle in the 50% off aisle at my Joanns today, though not sure it was just mine! I'm so excited to get my project started. The colors are just so lovely together. Your runner came out beautifully!
